Air Fryer Blackened Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skin-on salmon fillets 8 ounces each
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dry thyme
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
  • Fresh lemon juice for garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dry thyme, paprika, cayenne pepper, kosher salt, and white pepper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the avocado oil or olive oil and two tablespoons of the blackening seasoning. Whisk to incorporate.
  • Transfer the salmon fillets to the marinade and make sure they are evenly coated.
  • Set your air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit and let it preheat for 12 minutes.
  • Once preheated, transfer the salmon fillets to the basket, skin side down. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, or until your desired doneness.
  • Remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer to a plate.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve and enjoy!
